Helle is the founder and creative force behind Jordens Skole (School of the Earth), established in 2020, and the recreational gardening initiative Go Gardening, launched in 2021. In 2024, she co-founded the educational programme Creating Permaculture Gardens with Children.

She holds an MA in Modern Culture and Cultural Communication and spent 20 years at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR), working as a presenter, producer and project manager.

Through Jordens Skole, Helle produces podcasts, teaches podcast storytelling, and is currently producing a documentary exploring collective ownership of land.

Having grown up on an organic farm, Helle has a deep-rooted interest in community-driven approaches to the green transition and in ecological education. She is a founding member of Andelsgaarde, an association promoting collective ownership of farmland, and serves on the board of Vallekilde Folk High School. She is also co-editor of Nature as a Public Cause and The Green Songbook.

Helle works at the intersection of nature, art and culture, where she inspires new ways of thinking and supports the development of circular and regenerative practices. Her work explores the transformative and educational potential of gardens as spaces for learning, community and ecological change.

Helle about herself: 

Through my career as a facilitator and a radiohost at DR I learned the powerful fine art of asking questions. That art, combined with the skill of listening for the essence, the ideas coming from the peripheries of society and the solutions of wicked problems is what brought me to work with transformation and change and establishing Jordens Skole.

Jordens Skole (founded in 2020) is a platform for inspirational transformative and regenerative development through working learninggroups, community and communication.

With roots in storytelling, culture, and sustainable small scale farming I connect people with landscapes, soil and livelihood. I aim to turn insight into action and make change tangible and meaningful.

As a speaker, consultant, teacher, host and facilitator I love to inspire new ways of thinking, meeting and acting.

I enjoy helping organizations and communities to discover their living purpose and implementing regenerative thoughts into practice of daily life.

My approach is blending motivational narrative, co-creational collaboration, participatory- and nature-connected leadership.

At Jordens Skole my team and I create spaces where regenerative skills becomes a shared, embodied story.

I am hoping that my work sparks curiosity, courage, and fresh perspectives for transformation.
