Guiding Principles
BUILD AND INTERACT
We invite you to walk the 'Educational path' and find the interactive elements and challenges. You can engage with them in the way you feel like, perhaps build on an idea that somebody else has started.

CONNECT WITH NATURE
The intention behind the path is to invite you to disconnect for a while from your phone and daily life and to connect and interact with the forest, the trees, sounds and animals...

LEAVE SOMETHING BEHIND
We practise the skill of giving something back to the place where we walk and spend some time. Generosity in action. It is not just about leaving no trace but to leave or give something to the place. A gift, your creativity, your energy and attention. Listening with intention is also a way of being aware of the need of the place. Perhaps the forest tells you how you can contribute and perhaps regenerate.

LEARN
The path has features that can spark an interest in what grows in the forest. Learn about the tree names and from there be curious to ask the trees: How old are you? Why are you growing here? Who are your friends and how do you communicate with each other?

SLOW DOWN
While engaging, building, playing and really paying attention you will spend more time in the forest than you would usually do on a walk. We invite you to slow down and really be present. Sometimes walking slowly with closed eyes can bring your other senses alive.

STAY A LITTLE LONGER
There are spaces where the path invites you to stay for a longer time. Sitting or lying down. Lighting a fire, having a conversation or singing a song. Being quiet together or playing a game. You are also welcome to create your own space there. Perhaps in one of the trees or behind a bush.
